I look at the subject matter before me: the landscape, the person, the objects and let my eye concentrate on the qualities that speak to me. That is how an artist creates a picture that is unique to her. Using an abstracted reality, a suggestion of what is, bold colors and dynamic lines, I paint something new each time. I'm never afraid to experiment.
